Q. Can I post my advert?
A. Yes Forms are available online to print and post with your cheque for payment, to Findafishingboat, Strontian, Argyll, PH36 4HY. These adverts cost an extra £10 for boat adverts(£35) and an extra £5 for licence adverts(£20) and classified adverts(£15). Posted adverts will go online asap.
Q. Is it safe to give my card details online?
A. Card details are encrypted before sending and this is a very secure method of payment.
Q. How do I add pictures?
- Crop your pictures to highlight boat only. Resize to 650 pixels if possible. Save picture as jpeg. and take a note of the file name.
- Click the Browse buttons to select the pictures you want to upload from your computer.
- A dialogue box displays, enabling you to navigate to folders containing pictures.
- Click the picture file you want, then click the OK button.
- Repeat step 1 for each picture.
- Click the Upload button when you are finished
Q. Can I change my pictures or add more pictures later?
A. You can amend your advert and add pictures using your password. If you add pictures later you have to add all three pics once more.
Q. Why cant I see pictures of the boats on the website?
A. Because your browser settings have been adjusted or need up dating , one cure is to download a new browser to do this go to www.getfirefox.com and follow the download instructions. When you have the firefox browser type www.findafishingboat.com in the address bar this will solve the problem.
